cbssports | Deadspin.com has obtained a longer version
of the tape that contains a man alleged to be Donald Sterling making,
somehow, even more disturbingly racist comments than the version
released by TMZ on Saturday. In the 15-minute cut of the tape that
features discussions of Dodgers outfielder Matt Kemp, Israel, and the
Holocaust, the man alleged to be Sterling makes it clear he feels he
does enough for the black players he employs:
V: I don't understand, I don't see your views. I wasn't raised the way you were raised.
DS: Well then, if you don't feel -- don't come to my games. Don't bring black people, and don't come.
V: Do you know that you have a whole team that's black, that plays for you?
DS: You just, do I know? I support them and give them food, and clothes, and cars, and houses. Who gives it to them? Does someone else give it to them? Do I know that I have—Who makes the game? Do I make the game, or do they make the game? Is there 30 owners, that created the league?

First, we have ass clown politicians getting arrested and convicted. Then, we have Sharpton getting outed for snitching. Now we have the NAACP. How much money has Mr Sterling given them over the years? It's all coming out now. Buck dancing done finally caught up with them. Who's next to fall?
ah yesss...., but now we're finally getting to see the REAL sock puppets and ass clowns in their hideous true aspect. as much fun as this is, i'm still only interested in knowing who the other 29 owners (oops, i mean ball-breakers) are who've probably all also been getting their toes sucked and licked all these many years with skinning and grinning public accolades paid them by their gratefully ghoulish bed-warmers too!
I caught that too when I first listened to the recording...if you listen to the recording, he is talking about what others are telling him or pressuring him on...that is why I said this is just the tip of the iceberg here....
You are correct. How Stirling got his first NAACP Lifetime Achievement Award after being sued by the Bush Justice Department in 2005, and agreeing to pay a fine of $2.73 million to settle claims that he engaged in discriminatory rental practices against Hispanics, Blacks, and families with children, is sad reflection of finances blinding conscience.
NBA Commissioner Adam Silver announced that Sterling’s $2.5 million fine will be donated to organizations dedicated to anti-discrimination and tolerance efforts that will be jointly selected by the NBA and the Players Association.
As expected the usual cast of characters are lining up for a share of the spoils.
[Several civil rights organizations applauded the NBA for its lifetime ban of Clippers owner Donald Sterling because of racist comments the league says he made in a recorded conversation.
However, those groups still want to meet with NBA commissioner Adam Silver to discuss diversity in the executive ranks of the professional basketball league and to figure out ways to ensure such situations don't happen again.
The National Urban League, the National Action Network, the NAACP and the National Coalition on Black Civic Participation issued a joint statement cheering Silver's announcement that he banned Sterling for life and that the league would attempt to force him to sell the Clippers.]
This is the same incredibly hypocritical NAACP, whose Los Angeles chapter was planning to give Sterling a second Lifetime Achievement Award, even though he had been sued and subsequently fined $2.7 million in 2009 for housing discrimination against Afrikan Americans and Hispanics. Since the NBA took no action against Sterling for his past white supremacist activities its sudden “morality” is just as suspicious as the NAACP, which is groveling for money. Illicit intercourse between injustice and immorality is a way of life in the world of institutionalized white supremacy.
