911inacademia | Coming this fall, “9/11 in the Academic Community,” a Winner of the
University of Toronto Film Festival, is a unique film that documents
academia’s treatment of critical perspectives on 9/11 by exploring the
taboo that shields the American government’s narrative from scholarly
examination. Through a powerful reflection on intellectual courage and
the purpose of academia, the film aims at changing intellectual
discourse on 9/11 and the War on Terror.
As well as probing the repercussions several scholars have endured
due to their investigation of 9/11, this documentary provides an
analysis of impairments in professional inquiry, ranging from the
failure to critically reflect on terms functioning as thought-stoppers
(such as “conspiracy theory”) to the structural approach that restricts
inquiry to the broad implications of 9/11 while shutting out enquiry
into the events of the day itself. Morton Brussel, Professor Emeritus of
Physics at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, has stated:
“The main thesis of the film concerns the silence of the academic
community on this vital issue. I think it is extremely important and
very well produced.”
As 9/11 served as the rationale for the Global War on Terror, the
expansion of the military and intelligence complex, the invasion of
other countries in violation of international law, and the curtailing of
civil liberties, the film provides an inspiring demonstration of
intellectual courage that will cause many scholars to reflect on the
academy’s role and strength to dismantle the war system. As Alvin A.
Lee, President Emeritus of McMaster University, has stated in his
endorsement of the film: academics should “stand sufficiently outside
society intellectually to see, understand, and interpret what is going
on.”

The 9/11 dodecade demonstrates that academia is mostly composed of gutless scumbags that are not very intelligent to begin with. They need the approval of their fellow academics to be told what to think.
When has the COLUMN DENSITY of skyscrapers ever been discussed?
A Normal skyscraper has columns 30 feet apart. A WTC tower was 208 feet by 208 feet. So a skyscraper 210 by 210 would have a column array of 8 by 8 consisting of 64 columns. That would be a density of:
(210×210)÷64 = 689
So each column would be supporting an average of 689 sq ft of floor space on every level. Obviously the designers would have to figure out how strong the columns would have to be all of the way up the building with lower portions supporting more weight.
The core of each WTC tower was 85 by 135 feet with 47 columns which comes to:
(85×135)÷47 = 244
So the core had more than double the usual column density but people are telling us that the core could not stand without the outer floors and the perimeter. But the perimeter consisted of FOUR 2-Dimensional arrays of steel with 59 columns in each, which yields:
(208×208)÷(47+236) = 153
So the total column density of the WTC above the 9th floor was more than FOUR TIMES that of a normal skyscraper. But in almost 7 years of messing with this subject on the Internet I have not seen anyone point this out. [other than myself] The people who have chosen to either believe or lie about the collapse nonsense come up ridiculous rationalizations to backwardly justify their position. But in Newtonian Physics time only runs in one direction.
So physicists and academia will look really stupid for a LONG TIME if the grade school physics of 9/11 is settled.
