Tom the Dancing Bug has got to be the smartest comic strip I've ever seen. I love Bolling's work.
"So the minute the Prime Minister of al-Qaeda signs a peace treaty..." fuuuuuuny.

Here are a few I thought were pretty classic.

System D in full muhphuggin effizi!!!! All that remains to be seen is how extensive and robust are the darknets that have been mustered in support of System D communication and collaboration - and - to what extent D-economics are not merely recycling, repurposing, and reselling castoff material from the anglosphere...,

On the one hand, repurposing  is huge (cf Sani Abacha, international economy, and the like), but that's in large part because of the economic inability to support massive research and standardization effort, so on the other hand, the Nigerian engineers and scientists who've been working in the west the last forty odd years have figured out roughly what's fraud here so they take what's worth taking and leave the rest. Nigeria is also upgrading its universities, expats are helping set up new universities, and the like. If you want a sense of what's making western grad schools function, attend them - roughly equal numbers of African (mainly west- and east-), Chinese, Indians, and (Muslim, Buddhist and Filipino) Asian immigrants. These are the people doing much of the innovation, rather than westerners. And these grad students mainly do undergrad in their own countries - even undergrad in the west has been weakened.

But I suspect that it is best not to describe these networks in too much detail, as the west relies to a large extent on its left and other dissidents as intelligence sources... Just my 2c...

They are significantly lacking hereabouts. Except for 'pirated' movies, software, etc. As soon as food carts come around more than once a week (farmer's markets), things may change.

Well we started off well. Park Ranger killed by lone gunmen with big guns, rise of fire setting in LA and 4 Molotov cocktails thrown at Mosque and stores  in Jamaica, NY. The police will probably take of the mask this year and look military. And there will be no need for subpoenas to look at information trails, and your carbon footing will be taxed. Is this a surprise, not a bit. The global market, legal and illegal has created this bureaucratic maze, predicted since the 1950's and seen in films since the great Fritz Lang (1927) to Blade Runner (1982). Doc wasn't one of your question what is individuality, good question for contemplation? Love to hear more on what the technologist say, and not the new privileged cowboys.
