A trip on tripping

RawStory | Magic mushrooms (psilocbye cubensis) can provoke hallucinations, spiritual insights, and serious hilarity, but just what do they do to your brain?
They’re illegal under federal law–a Schedule I controlled substance, like heroin, LSD, and marijuana–but scientists say they can have thereapeutic uses for people suffering from disorders such as PTSD and depression. And a widely-cited 2010 British study  found magic mushrooms to be the least dangerous of any of the 20 drugs evaluated, both for users and for society at large.
Those science sleuths at ASAPScience have a nifty little three-minute animated video that explains just what psilocybin, the active ingredient in ‘shrooms, does in and to your brain as your mind melts. The science is firm and the viewpoint is balanced–they don’t shy away from the possibility of unhappy experiences–but in the end they come out for loosening up the laws in light of what we know now.

I lost the chance at a new club over the dropping prices. A guy I know builds oil rigs in the Gulf. His company has had a whole lot of contracts canceled. The couple of milli he planned on dropping for me to build what ever I wanted are now needed to shore up other projects. Many of my customers are being laid off (but it's odd, most still have enough money to get to da club). The effects of dropping prices hurts smaller buisinesses as well.

UBJ, in a town of 118,000, how large would you estimate your population of regulars (two or more visits per month) to be? Also, do folks make the drive in from Lake Charles and elsewhere to at least slightly randomize their small-town booty hunting and gathering activities?

Lake Charles? More like from Houston, Dallas, Baton Rouge, Shreveport... As well as those from the local/regional area. Most people come twice a month, many come twice a week. I really don't get the appeal. I'm helping younger brotha's with their clubs and in the way they operate them in an effort to create a more socially conscious brand of club owners who work together and support each other. I just had some of them watch the 30 for 30 about Duke. I'm not a fan of Duke (they beat my more favored UNLV, Georgetown and Michigan teams) but they don't lower their standards yet their constant and continuous success is expected not just hoped for. I want these kids to be the Coach Ks in their respective businesses. I only open for four night because I'm too tired to open more. I have my hundred or so THOTs from which any given twenty or so will show up on any given night. These bring in new men who in turn bring in new women. This area has a lot of pro athletes who come in to get away from fans. I usually don't find out who they are until someone points out that I was just talking to so-and-so and that I just introduced them another so-and so. I've never been a groupie so I don't keep up with much pop culture. My girlfriend's son, on the other hand, is quick to let me know when I am in a photo or at dinner with someone he thinks is important. Any celebrity who is in town is steered to my club. I always turn down requests when they want to host a private night because my regulars are more important than someone I may just meet once. I seem to be doing a'ight...

My bad, I was just looking at the google map and seeing what was within an hour's drive. Waaaaaay back when I was hormonally convinced there was gold in strange drawls, I was occasionally willing to drive an hour or so. But honestly, I'm too lazy and like to get too turn't to hazard any kind of lengthy drive. For a while, I lived an hour outside of Boston. That didn't last, and I wound up moving downtown and living in the middle of the red-light district so that anything I might be inclined to do was within easy walking/subway/taxi distance from where I slept.

Wow CNu: Now I see what gets you off: Israel.

Israel is "an Apartheid state" even as it receives the most NON-WAR DISPLACEMENT REFUGEE immigration than any other nation in the region.

CNu seems more pissed off that Israel "spied upon" the American/Iranian nuke talks than he expressed when it was discovered that the American CIA had a compound in Libya, after the "NATO Led Coup" that used 70% American military power.

Is ESPIONAGE the real problem here, Brother CNu OR is it a particular narrative that matters most?
