Did you noticed in the video at 5:08 Hosea Williams filed an injunction with the court and got a federal judge ruling? So let me ask the question..when the f*ck did Al Sharpton ever filed an injunction with the courts on behalf of cause he claim to be marching for? Seriously?! This goes back to the basic premise that even Hosea Williams, not the smartest guy in that whole group and his daughter Porsha Williams running around acting a fool on reality TV shows is smart enough to use the court system to find a path forward.

All these fake cosplay Hebrews and Hotep to these organizational negroes running around but none of them have any court or legislative savvy and just running their damn mouth or a blog or posting memes for black twitter in 2015....

The reality teevee chickenhead is Hosea Williams grand daughter. Williams Sr. was a WW-II veterean with a far more distinguished record than his also deceased son and Porsha's father Hosea Williams II. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hosea_Williams

More nerd black partisan brothers like HW Sr., not wedded to that responsible negroe policy of non-violent protest and assimilation to the federal government, and things might be very different. But then, when you consider that WW-II was the first big taste of access, exposure and freedom to something approaching the fat part of the black male bell curve, it's hard to hold folks strenuously to account.

Hard to imagine what a hard row cats who got themselves free generations before HW Sr. had to hoe. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/George_Schuyler In 1912, Schuyler, at the age of 17, enlisted in the U.S. Army and was promoted to the rank of First Lieutenant, serving in Seattle and Hawaii. He went AWOL after a Greek immigrant, who was tasked to shine his shoes, refused to do so because of Schuyler's skin color. After turning himself in, Schuyler was convicted by a military court and sentenced to five years in prison. He was released after nine months as a model prisoner. One thing is for certain, however, those earlier pre-cursor free black men held no truck with the premises of the civil rights movement, i.e., non-violent protest and signing up with the federal gang.

Hosea Williams was never scared and I remember him when I first moved here to Atlanta and his approach was very confrontational and full of fight. When you see others (like some kufi wearers) make a career of whining and complaining about racism, Hosea Williams was ready to take the fight to the bigots doorstep. I liked that at lot about him. I didn't know he was a WWII vet but now it makes sense to me and you just educated me about George Schuyler experience in the military.

Interesting how we can look back and see black military men being the bite behind the bark from the one retired general who changed Seattle school system around and the one retired general who helped get Hurricane Katrina situation stabilized. Kufis and Hebrew cosplays and hair pimp preachers just don't know about how things work but the rest of our community just not getting the press release on this.

I took the liberty of adding emphasis. I see your truth and will raise you one further. I've been thinking about this a lot lately in the context of how organizations are run. The military is like what I've referred to as a civilizing and true church(school). It consists of multiple interlocking levels of activity which cannot function effectively without a command and control hierarchy - every level of which - looks up and down its line with trust. That means every level must be competent, and the levels above must understand and support the levels below. In order for a general to effectively lead at a strategic level, he MUST understand the underlying operational level run by colonels and majors, the underlying tactical level run by captains, lieutenants, and sargeants - and the combat levels directly experienced and overseen by sargeants and soldiers. Finally, in order for a general to be a fully successful leader, he must care about the welfare of every one of his soldiers.

The leadership of most corporations, must public and private institutions is no longer built up by/from meritocratic hiring, development and promotion from within. So learning all the levels and rising through the ranks is no longer the order of the day. The executive or strategic levels of control of many institutions is now so constituted as to serve only the purpose of being a narrative mouthpiece for the organization, and, managing the organizational livestock in order to maximize short term yield from the same. They don't give a damn about their organizational subordinates down to the level of the soldiers. They don't know the operational and tactical drill, and in consequence, their strategies are more often than not a complete misfit.and fustercluck. The loyalty and fidelity of subordinates in such a misled organization are fundamentally compromised. The senior managers are frauds constantly anxious and paranoid about their tenuous and fraudulent standing.

Given the dysfunctional status-obsessed nature of these chimps in suits, that's a recipe for complete catastrophe.

Everything called out above applies in spades to these 2nd/3rd line inheritor politician/political "leaders" of the civil rights movement. The oldest ones haven't learned their jobs or any new tricks, and simply want to die in office. Watching some of these geriatric clowns in suits on teevee right now, and their heirs are their hand-picked ass-kissing sycophants who didn't bring genuine game like Hosea Williams Sr. did back in the day. Hosea Williams Sr. was "too blunt" or "too plain spoken" to become a member of the responsible negroe establishment and be on teevee like mushmouf John Lewis whose head is still addled by that ass whooping he took on the bridge fifty years ago. I won't even say anything about the clown preacher who is the sitting chair of the congressional black caucus. Just pathetic.

A people is only as respected as its gangsters are productive and effective. Everything else is conversation....,

"that even Hosea Williams, not the smartest guy in that whole group..." Hosea Williams MS Chemistry -- "not the smartest guy in that whole group." -- LOL

As regards LBJ audio, a the key factor in the "success" of the CRM was the Cold War--particularly how images of white supremacist barbarism was playing in Afrika where they was a dynamic struggle for spheres of influence.

As regards yesterday's political theater in Selma,"a symbolic holiday for celebrities," per David Garrow. No one dared to address the current conditions in Selma-82% Afrikan American; 40% poverty rate for Blacks; 67% of the children in Dallas Country live in poverty, because it would have exposed the fraud of neo-colonial politics. Obama said: "Fifty years from Bloody Sunday, our march is not yet finished. But we are getting closer." Closer to what?
