Occupy Wall Street is leaderless resistance movement with people of many colors, genders and political persuasions. The one thing we all have in common is that We Are The 99% that will no longer tolerate the greed and corruption of the 1%. We are using the revolutionary Arab Spring tactic to achieve our ends and encourage the use of nonviolence to maximize the safety of all participants.
A lot of pundits are being dismissive, but you know the old cliche, 'wake up and smell the coffee.'  My 'they' has turned into a 'we.'

So if double-entry accounting had been mandatory in the schools 40 years ago would these problems exist now?  So what are they really suggesting to solve the problems now?

The nitwit economists did it by not doing their jobs because corporations would not hire economists that really did their jobs.
