How are Alaska, Delaware, Nevada, New York and Wyoming 'offshore'?
Tax havens, or so-called "low-tax jurisdictions" which behave as if they're off the American shore in many significant regards. VERY significant if you're a corporation reaping the special benefits of these money-laundering (er low-tax) jurisdictions.
