lol, I'ma guess that one of the merry pranksters from back in the day when American psy-ops were perpetrating this ish, smuggled out a "probe" (which itself probably had its genesis under the insane human experimentation by demented leathermen in the 3rd reich) - and then "invented" the farmer freunder by simply upping the scale and power of the thing for a bovine victim.
